Uzi’s volleyball story began unexpectedly when a determined woman refused to take “no” for an answer and recruited him to play—and nearly two years later, he’s still on the court. Standing tall at 6’5” (or 6’7”, depending on who’s asking), he’s embraced every challenge the game presents, especially mastering the four-step approach. Volleyball has helped him grow in more ways than one, teaching him to communicate with intention even in the most intense rallies. Uzi sees himself as living proof that with dedication, anyone can learn quickly and excel. His confidence, humor, and presence make him a standout both on and off the court, often backed by his go-to anthem, Trendsetter by Connor Price.
